Choosing Your Sample: Real Paint vs. Color Sample
Selecting the perfect shade is about more than just a paper chip. To help you visualize your home’s transformation, we offer two professional 2’x2′ sampling options. Both are crafted on thin, portable boards so you can test them in different lighting or take them to design centers to coordinate with your tile, flooring, and countertops.
| Feature | Color Sample ($50) | Real Paint Sample ($180) |
|---|---|---|
| Material | 2’x2′ Smooth Board | 2’x2′ Smooth Board |

Why the difference?
The Color Sample ($65/ea)
This is a great first step if you’re torn between a few different shades. We use paint store sample quarts (which only come in a satin sheen) to give you a much better look at the color than a small paper chip can provide. While the color is very close, the final feel and durability will differ slightly from your actual finished walls.
The Real Paint Sample ($180/ea)
This is the gold standard for high-end residential preservation. To ensure 100% accuracy, we don’t use small sample quarts. Instead, we purchase a full gallon of your specific paint product to ensure the tinting formula is identical to what will be applied to your home.
Because we use the actual product and sheen, you can test the durability, feel the finish, and see exactly how the light hits the final surface. These samples are professionally sprayed and include the cost of the gallon, the custom board, labor, and specialized equipment cleaning.
